1. Keep driveways and paths marked out so snow removal does not damage grass and planting areas.

2. Plants that are in areas of heavy snow load or in danger of falling snow from roofs, should be protected with plant covers.

3. Plants that are in high wind areas should be wrapped, comfortably snug in burlap or sprayed with an anti-desiccant spray to preserve the plants natural moisture to help against winter burn.

4. Remember, NOT to knock snow or ice off of plants, this can cause more harm than good.
