We are seeking highly motivated individuals to become part of the Hunter Springs team. We are currently offering opportunities for the following positions:
Description - Candidates for this position will provide quality work ethics in the Landscape / hardscape Field for residential / commercial properties.
Team members will work with the company foreman to produce high quality projects for our clients.
Team members typically perform a variety of tasks, which may include any combination of the following: sod laying, planting, watering, fertilizing, digging, raking, brick, block & stone installation, installation of mortar less segmental concrete masonry wall units and the use of hand or power tools along with equipment, if needed..
All applicants will be self-thinking, detail conscious and willing to work hard for a great days pay. A clean drivers license is required and the more an applicant brings to the table, the more there earning potential is.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Maintains tools and equipment.
Knowledge of brick, block & stone
Hauls or spreads topsoil, and spreads straw over seeded soil to hold soil in place.
Basics of equipment operation (skid steer, backhoe, front end loader)
Digs holes for plants, mixes fertilizer /soil in holes& proper planting procedure
Attaches wires from planted trees to support stakes.
Knowledge of materials, methods, and the appropriate tools to construct objects, structures, and buildings
Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, benefits, repair, and maintenance

Compensation: Minimum $400 per week plus benefits based on qualifications. Benefits include medical, dental and vision.

Position Description:
A Foreman position that will lead a landscape construction team on a day-to-day basis. Responsibilities will include, but not limited to, all aspects of landscape / hardscape construction. Full knowledge of brick, block & stone proper methods and construction. Landscape plantings, plant ID, bed prep., mulching grading and finish work. Equipment operation, excavation and drainage installation.
All aspects of the Hardscape industry, ie: SRW block retaining walls, raised patios, brick driveways, sidewalks of bluestone, fieldstone and clay pavers, large boulder stone wall construction, dry stack stone walls, and wet stone work knowledge is a bonus.
This position requires full knowledge of installation practices for any type of brick, block or stonework, including plan reading, grade sets, proper installation practices according to ICPI &NCMA specifications. This position will require proper communication and training for the Hunter Springs hardscape team.
If candidate Brings additional knowledge on electrical, plumbing & carpentry to the position, it is a valuable bonus for hiring decisions. ”
All applicants MUST have required experience and clean drivers license. This is a career position with mobility for the applicant that can direct their team in an efficient, high productivity manor. Other aspects of position will be assisting supervisor in daily/ weekly planning, full attention to safety, ordering of materials and control of tools and equipment. This is a working leadership position.
Successful candidates must possess experience in the landscape profession (or willing to learn), a winning attitude, team spirit, quality personal communication skills, clean drivers license and a positive “GET THE JOB DONE” attitude.
